are we really gonna ignore all the other games between liquid and fnc just because liquid won a meaningless game for tokyo placing just because it had a fancy trophy attached to it?
- fnc still went 9-0 in the regular season and are reigning champs , liquid still need to prove themselves
istg emea fans are the smartest, like actually . even liquid fans know how to correctly assess situations, even if it means rating their own team lower than what someone else says
though I agree, I find it hard not carring about a match that you've worked 9 whole weeks on getting to. saying that it is a meanigless game would be an overstatement. I can agree hower that Fnatic weren't trying their best
I would kind of agree with this but I believe they will be times better in playoffs
realistically speaking they still need to prove themselves
- boostio won them so many rounds that shouldn't have been won
- they almost didnt qual for americas playoffs
- they dont compare with teams above them , except drx , which I believe will play times better than they did until now

I agree with EG’s placement, while they look dominant we still have to see how they perform not winning pistols. Its just mot a sustainable stat to win every pistol round in a tournament.
Though I am glad other players step up.
Tell that to fnatic who were winning almost every pistol since the strat of the season until now using practically the same pistol strats since lock-in for very map the only match they didn’t win at least half of the pistols was furia where they lost every pistol even against loud they went 7-3 in pistols that’s why they are so good 1 of the reasons at least they are best team in the world at pistols so it will give them a big momentum boost as they are winning most pistols once eg face fnatic I would be interested to see how they do against fnatic in pistol rounds that’s if eg can beat loud and either liquid or edg

you could argue for drx in b tier but I think they will get over this slump they are in rn
T1 should be B tier too (yea they got smacked on a rematch they won earlier and EDG are just a really strong team). EDG could be bumped to A tier? EG should be A tier.
T1 is fine where they are
they are on the same level with navi but not with the b tier teams

Their second half of the season was very solid
Idk if we r gonna forget that NRG slapped them in the final regular season game… they had control of their own destiny and lost. I won’t deny that they are playing really well rn but the overall body of work for DRX is just too good
this could all be a honeymoon period
overall drx is a more stable and consistent roster
they havent gotten grouped once since the start of valorant and they had consistently placed good in tourneys
you cant rate eg higher just because drx lost to them in a h2h game

ALSO mako had an off day and stax had his worst game in his whole career while boostio won them half of their rounds on his own
