they dont, next year there will be 33 teams instead of 30 and on 2025 there will be 36, but since the teams left after 2 years on 2026 there will be 36 teams forever and ever.
so if m80 wins they get to join franchise for 2 seasons then back to tier 2? they have to requalify for franchise?

M80 go the to the franchise league for 2 years and there will be 11 teams next year then the winner of ascension next year goes to the league and there will be 12 teams in 2025, then m80 get relegated and the next winner of Ascension get promoted the league will always be 12 teams after 2025

wait are they actually sent back to VCL after two years? that's fucking stupid. i thought the two year deal was to pave the way to a relegation system like they do in football/soccer leagues
