Teams that made Challengers playoffs (yes, even TSM) are tier 1 teams for sure
As well, I'd say that C9, Gen.G, T1, and V1 are also tier 1 teams, depending upon how they perform in the LCQ

SEN, 100T, NV, XSET. All 4 teams may beat each other, and they are all clearly 1 step above the rest.

These are the very top of tier 1 I'd say. There is more Tier 1 teams, as it doesn't feel right to call teams who don't place top 4 (Tier 2).
