How come there's no notable Mongolian players in VALORANT(only erkaSt I know of) but in CSGO the scene has a scene that is still alive and some decent players still competing in Asian CSGO

Strong Counter Strike culture, see Russia and Kazakhstan as well. Russia has a decent Valorant scene but thats because every teenage guy plays video games so even if the vast majority play CS youll still have enough valorant players to form a scene. But Kazakhstan and Mongolia simply dont have enough Valorant players because everyone plays CS instead.
yes but ErkasT is from NA now too from your logic, they are full-blooded Mongolians i believe
they're different ,erkast didn't emigrate to na and was in austalia on his student visa while playing as a csgo pro
some random mongolian guy i guess made an account a couple hours ago and their first post was on this thread made on January 2, 2022
I heard there are Mongolian DotA teams too. maybe because Valorant is new game there aren't much Mongolian teams. + ping problem and no qualifiers.
It's that general public prefer CS:GO over Valorant as its old school and Mongolians seem to prefer vanilla FPS games rather than ability-based FPS.But still Valorant is popular among young teens here :) Same goes with LoL and Dota 2, League of Legends is dead in Mongolia but majority of moba players are drawn to Dota 2 since it has been popular here for more than decades
