Riot dont earn money directly from esports, they use them for marketing games

I dont think thats profitable but I would pay for a val vip pass like the ow one where I can see real time stats and switch between player perspectives.
I would pay good money to be able to watch the game from different pros perspectives
They had that for LoL but cancelled it after a season I think because people weren't paying for it.
I feel like because league matches are much longer and theres a lot of downtime being able to watch from certain povs just isnt as appealing, but then again I am not a league player/fan so I dont really know.
Also the fact that its 3rd person anyways so you're never really gonna miss any of the insane plays/povs in team fights
E-sports is just a marketing tool for game manufacturers. Do you want me to pay to watch advertisement? only fools will do that.
I would pay for benefits like being able to switch between player POVs in game
