Normally I root against FaZe in most esports but BABYBAY is my favorite player by far. I love the boys over at 100T but BABYBAY is just so entertaining to watch and watching him on Back Chat was hilarious. With that being said I think this is a 2-1 for FaZe. Envy dropped a map to GenG yesterday while FaZe just absolutely demolished XSET and FaZe has all the momentum in the world heading into this matchup.
GenG is a better team by far than XSET right now though. Still a valid point.
I'm bullish on FaZe tbh.. Especially after seeing Envy struggle a little bit with GenG.
Should be a very interesting match. I think judging by how hot these teams both are, whoever goes into the losers bracket is going to destroy IMT/LG.
FaZe and NV both finishes challenger on NO.1 spot then after SEN and 100T Both end up 2nd on challenger, This sunday will be huge game.
Faze and envy seem like the most successful teams atm, haven’t lost very many games recently, this match shall be really interesting.
Think this one's going to be harder to predict than 100T v Sentinels ngl. Faze being so unpredictable against a very organised Envy, might go down to how good FNS reads and calls are in the game in fairness.
I have some very unfortunate news for envy believers, this match do be planned for 7am down here in Aus so might aswell give it up now
I'm pretty biased towards faze but pretty sure envy will have a lot harder of a time than faze. Envy will be the ones pressured to make the right calls not faze. Faze will always try to set the tempo and have the other team react. Its up to the other team to either match and overtake the tempo or react correctly to the aggression of faze. If they are forced into the ladder situation it will always be harder to try to react to faze. Making the correct reactions is much harder than it sounds when facing a team with the raw aggression and aim of faze. But if its the former its not easy to take the tempo on a team who specializes in doing so.
The more sophisticated FaZe's scmeag is, the easier it will be to read and anti strat against and if anyone is going to come up with a gameplan to counter FaZe, it would be fns. With that being said, I'm sticking to my prediction above of a 2-1 for FaZe. I think that Envy's win condition has to be food. Babybay already said in the interview that he will target food just like how he targeted Asuna, so if Food can win those opening duels against Babybay, or if Envy can trade instantly when Food loses, I think Envy has a very good chance to win.

Sage is a must pick on icebox... the her wall on A site on attack and on tube while defending is just way too good
yea i literally can't understand how na teams play icebox with neither a sage or viper.
I cannot comprehend why they let icebox through but banned ascent. It just doesn't make sense. Not a single other team except T1 let both icebox and haven through against FaZe. Their map phase is so see-through: ban split, pick icebox, pick haven. Envy's worst map is clearly icebox and FaZe's best map is icebox/haven. I just don't get it.
Faze has improved so much, its insane. Faze is definitely gonna win 2-0, Faze is easily one of the best teams NA right now,
Well, Bind is the real decider. If they win Bind they're the better team. But Envy losing icebox to faze is 100% expected.
