why are champions weighed more than masters?

cuz there's only 1 per year and cuz it actually brings in the best teams from all around the world unlike masters which has a direct qualing system, champions has circuit points where you need to consistently get high placements to earn points in order to make it to the most "prestigious" event of the year (boom rope incident lulw)
cuz Riot decided that is the most important tournament in Valorant and to get a spot is way harder than any other tournament.
Simple like that
Because you actually have to be good to be in champions not just have a lucky run lol
Champs have more teams that participate, therefore winning also means you naturally have to win more games
- unique (1 per year)
- thematic song that brings hype
- exclusive bundle (and money to the teams)
- 16 teams (masters has only 12)
- teams qualify through their effort along all the year, not being on top of one specific split of the league
- higher prizepool
- no teams starting on playoffs (you have to win more games)
VCT = Valorant CHAMPIONS Tour
"Tour" is the whole competitive curcuit that happens during the season, which includes the Masters events, and it exists enteirly arroud Valorant Champions.
It's planned to be the Main Event.
In cs joe terms
Major(champions in Val, once a year) > tier 1 trophy(masters)
One is more prestigious than the other
Cuz in clash of clans, champion needs 3200 trophies while master's at just 2600
higher prizepool
the one and only (except for this year cause there is only 1 masters)
more teams cuz of lcq
basically this is the major of all major tournaments
