NRG was bomb, they got eliminated bcs of ardis' choke at the end, if they made it we would be watching something else
wish they were here instead of DRX also.. DRX looked worse than i thought
Apac teams could be great in some time. Talon, EDG, even GE showed good games
TALON was most entertaining to watch...there were competitive matches like LOUD, NAVI, NRG etc. but nothing beats Talon entertainment
Furia is better than Leviatan. Leviatan just got fortunate that nobody exposed their weak map pool before NAVI.
agree this %100, they overhyped LEV to death, they shouldve hyped Furia instead
1.prx is still good
- players like cryo and cned need to learn other agents, theyll be very successful rn but need to be sustainable
- yay is not a one trick chamber
4.teams that utilize their 6th man well in the future will succeed a lot, having a flex pick for another map to avoid uncomfortable roles is huge (think of players like cryo and neT, can play raze or sentinels (well this is applicable on chamber meta only) when needed) - giants and koi are AMAZING teams and were unlucky to face nrg first
- vitality is going to be like the next oglu, good but not good enough
- 100t didnt deserve the 2 games they won
- eg will be the 3rd best NA team (not Americas just NA)
4 is a great point. Imagine if Will was the 6th 100T, we would have a great raze player for certain maps instead of forcing cryo to play her.
leviatan are the most overrated team in history of valorant...people were saying they were one of the best if not THE best for lock in.... yet they looked much closer to the level of vitality than to the level of the elite
she had been hyped because she was doing very well in the scrims, then at the most important time they choke
my hot take is that people are overreacting to this tournament, a lot of teams that looked like trash are going to be contenders in the future
gen.g is one of the top teams. they had 9-6 lead first map and 12-10 lead second map against loud. they lost because they choked (inexperience and bad mental), not because theyre bad team.
Idk if this is a hot take but NRG and LOUD will probably be the top 2 teams in the world for the second straight year and will play in at least 1 finals vs each other this year
