Dot or Cross

Tell me what are positives and downsides of both . DOT and + Cross or plus crosshair

Dot is best
But I prefer to use dot only if i'm playing MSAA 4x

I suppose the Dot is technically more precise but I like the cross a lot more as I find the dot impossible to aim with
