Raze Problem

Prob some devs are using vlr.gg, so I hope that they can read that thread.

First of all, raze problem is not her ult, it's a strong ult, but not the problem. Nerf in patch 1.04 looks nice

Main raze problem is her utilities.

Her HE is super op, it's spread a lot and do a lot of damage, it's impossible to run away from it without losing a lot of HP. It should only fragment in 3 HE and spread less.

Raze c4 is a problem because it doesn't give chip damage. C4 max damage in 75, it's half HP. If raze hit you with that she only need two shots to kill your. Also, it remove you from your position, putting you in a disadvantage. If we compare this ability with sova shock dart, you can see how op it's because, both skill do a similar damage, also raze ability is safer to use, because it's much faster and it put you a disadvantage in a gun fight. Nerf the damage, pls.

Boom bot, it's a information gathering tool, it should give a stun like breach/cypher. The most frusta thing ever is when you don't shot boom bot to kill someone and it explode in your feet, it's common since a lot of raze use boom bot to pick in close corner. If u aim at the floor to deal with boom bot you die, with you don't deal with boom bot it explodes in your feet.

What you guys think about this thoughts?

Raze was a mistake in this game imo. I know people will defend this character but the concept of raze itself does not fit a tactical fps. You could end a game with 10+ kill using only your abilities with raze, i've seen it happen in immortal 3 games.

idk i mean the abilities are big problems too but don't go away from the ult, its the lowest skill ult ever that 99% confirms a kill if you know where they are

but abilities are also stupid yeah i like your ideas, esp the boom bot

it might hard nerf her and make her 'bad' but i mean so is reyna in tierlists and shit, but even bad characters still see use, and i could see this raze still having use for sure, just no where near as unfair and much more skill based :d

To be honest I totally agree with @deva on this one. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Raze main, nor do I plan on playing Raze, but it is such an easy agent to play, and everything about her damages people. The recent ultimate change from 6 to 7 points means that people get the ult less which is a good thing, but it doesn't combat the problem of how good every one of her abilities are.

For example, her ultimate does so much damage, and if used in the right ways it will ruin a round in seconds. I think though that her ult is probably the second-best thing because nothing is comparable to her grenade. Not only does that clear corners in seconds, but the range to damage ratio is something else. You could be a meter away from her grenade and still take 60 damage.

I don't know really, I think it needs a little bit more rebalancing in my opinion. Maybe reduce damage of grenade and keep spread, satchels have less AOE or something like that.

If anything, reduce grenade aoe and dmg, that shit is crazy

Also when a Raze throws the paint shell. It gives her the oppertunity for an easy kill. While your'e escaping she can peek you, feels bad man. Maybe this could be nerfed by giving her a slow buff for a second. So that she can't peek you at the speed of light.

just halve the damage or make it 2/3 of what it is currently and she will actually have to aim her gun.
