What roles should igl?

Apac and NA believes that flex/initiators should igl(with exception of leviatan)
But Emea believes that smokers should igl(redgar, koldamenta, boaster, ange1)

So who's right?

It doesn't really matter, and the IGLs are just fitting into the roles where there is the least amount of impact in their region.

both are right, they play these roles which give the most map,utility and strats control

100t - stellar (smokes)
old g2 - mixwell (duelist)
zeta - laz (chamber)
optic - fns (viper/sentinel)
old TL - scream (dueslist)

imo igl can be any role, doesnt matter

old sen had their jett player to be the IGL 💀

initiators make the most sense but it really shouldn’t matter except for the awp role. smokers tend to lurk and igl should be with team calling fights

initiators and sentinels are the best ones imo since they have urility that gives them relevant information of agents and players of the other team but controllers are also fine since they can hide behind their team or flank well while having the calm to comm correctly and be supportive to their team since they can just throw smokes from another side of the map without problems.
