In the IEM Rio Major that is happening now, the brazilian crowd are helping the BR teams, but not only supporting, they are directly interfering in the game...
Whenever an opposing player infiltrates or is going to kill someone from behind, the crowd screams a lot and the brazilian players have already realized that whenever the crowd screams its because something is happening, and if theres nothing in front of them, they already know theres someone behind or infiltrated...

This is shameful, even more knowing that the only victory of a BR team in the tournament, was in a match BR x BR...

thats how it is at lan. deal w it.

did you know that a lot of pro players will clear spots using the crowd, they will pretend to aimlock on a common position and if the crowd starts yelling they know someone is there.

I mean you could have them play in cabins fully soundproofed, but yeah

They are playing in soundproof booths. The problem is that a crowd that big can actually easily vibrate the entire booth.

I don’t believe it is impossible to get a cabin where sound/vibration can’t get through for a tournament that moves millions and millions of dollars

Physics wise, it's impossible. As long as the whole stadium is vibrating, you can't have a static piece of it not vibrating. Unless you are hanging the booths in the air from helicopters. But I think that's overkill.

I think instead of complaining, lets think about ways to fix it

  1. FUCKING ANC headphones, like if just put them on and no one can cheat from crowds
