The roster is the organization's first Valorant squad, joining the organization's Fortnite and Call of Duty teams.

Code7 first formed in wake of Valorant's beta release, with an earlier variant of the team competing in multiple NSG and Fragadelphia online cups. After winning Road to MomoConline, Code7 made their Tier 1 debut in Immortals First Light as one of the six teams invited to the event.

The team would later go on to receive invites to the T1 x NSG Showdown and the Pulse Invitational and finished with a group stage exit and a quarterfinals exit respectively.

Nicolas , and Tork find their competitive history in Overwatch, previously forming an Overwatch team also named Code7 under similar names. Similarly, robwiz also previously played Overwatch under Selfless Gaming, as well as Team Fortress 2 with The Doctors.

pho is a former competitive CS:GO player, with multiple seasons of ESEA under his belt — three of them in ESEA's Premier division. Lastly, payen is a former professional Paladins player, previously playing for organizations such as SK Gaming and Pittsburgh Knights in the Paladins Premier League.

Built By Gamers are set to premiere their roster in the PAX Arena Invitational, the next North American event in the Ignition Series. However, three invites spots remain unknown in the EsportsDoug x eUnited Charity Clash, which is set to take place tomorrow.
