They were overthinking too much. When they were sure what they want to do they were unstoppable in those rounds. Individually they are all insane but some bad decision making as a team imo.

just comes with experience. I already figured they'll lose to prx but they made it close and look decent with a sub.

What do you mean they were overthinking? It was all timing. PRX had so many perfect timing and crazy setups. The teamplay is literally not the issue here.
Timings come to those who have better understanding of the map. EDG running into those cypher setups even though they had fade, their classic slowdown after getting crucial picks which is very predictable now where's PRX and specially Jingg, Benkai, Mindfreak were taking the initiatives to make confident plays. On EDG side only Kankang was taking authority on haven. They can show a little disrespect like what PRX shows cz they are that could. I thought they wouldn't be a team like DRX who has immense chemistry but is too methodical to point it hinders their ability to adapt. Also, they lost clutches.
Ok what do you call what they did on pistol round? They are trying to play safe when they had bomb plant, player adv and knew where the PRX players were. Shit like that happened multiple times
