i think this masters is the least hype masters so far. little to no interesting storyline, optic vs loud is the only to rivalry look forward to, and only a few clout teams. what do you guys think?

nah i think EMEA is good and they definitely deserve their slots but, i think that EMEA doesnt put themselves out there to much in terms of marketing/creating hype and i think that creates games that no one looks forward to. G2 may have fell off but they sure know how to create drama/rivalry.

not everyone thinks the same way you do. casual viewers only care about the matches with interesting teams or storylines.

2, The most explosive team, PRX, and the best team in the world, Fnatic, haven't played yet - FPX, a top 3 contender, is missing (debatably) their best player, in Suygetsu.
- Competition really starts in Playoff and everyone, especially teams like DRX and OpTic, will kick their play up to an even higher level.
Playoffs STARTS with the two best EMEA teams as well as Paper Rex, a crazy fun to watch team, vs Guild. Then it's DRX versus the new kings of Latam and then the regular NA rematch. The playoffs will be so much better without teams like G2 and Liquid to fumble away all their skill.
lol FPX is not a top 3 contender even with Su, Fnatic is better than them, DRX clapped them, and I'd wager Optic in form is better than them as well. I could also see XSET or Guild beating them although im less sure about guild they barely beat optic when yay had a once in a lifetime trash performance
for example, BCJ trash talking stax. now there is a story there and if they play it will be like a big match because there was already shit behind it, rather than a regular match
No, there is an interesting storyline. Bcj and stax for instance. Im looking forward for XSET vs DRX. Also, it will be interesting if PRX faced against FNATIC cause i get to see the battle of young duo, Forsaken X Jingg and Derke X Alfajer. Hopefully they meet soon or in Grand Final
true, imo NA needs at least 1 more slot, they bring the hype and the clout, also this format kinda kills the event, its so bad to watch compared to 2021 format, also 12 team events is just braindead, as much teams as possible, 24 teams should be the standard for all 3 events in the year, many teams with big fanbase dont make it because of very few slots, also crowd should have been in the royal arena of copenhagen to make it more hype for a 3 days single elimination playoffs like the one in champs
