as an org they have some pretty questionable practices but they recruit good talent for their competitive teams
The save the kid shit was mostly kay, jarvis, and their friends who FaZe kicked out. also Banks is a shit owner imo who gives FaZe a bad rep.
As an org yes they’ve done some pretty bad things. But their teams are solid you can’t hate the teams :)
The brackets were too bad
1 loss = eliminated for teams like NRG and LG
They didn't make the brackets like last time where top seed plays low seed
but that would mean the top seed would have no advantage. OpTic would be facing NRG first round.
i mean the lower seed teams will at least have a hard time but not as hard as starting in lower bracket
they did it last challengers too
and high seed teams will at least face some low seed teams so they can go 1 round ahead pretty easily
but it doesn't work like that. stage 1 playoffs, V1 (1st seed) lost to LG (4th seed). even in the current format, NRG (4th seed) made it to top 4 this time. if first seed doesn't get some sort of a bye, seeding wouldn't even matter because even 4th seed teams are good teams with upset potential. It sucks starting in lowers, but this format gives more meaning to seeding.
Then they should use csgo's playoff format without lower bracket
It will give importance to 1st seeds by giving them a bye to semis but there can be only 6 teams in the playoffs
2nd and 3rd team in quarter finals
Having to break the team bootcamp hurt them(Covid reasons), they were on good run!
For me personally Fuck the org but the players for faze can gain my full respects
