enigma and ge does have eu and kr coaches respectively tho

Because they are the only one with experience in fps games. It's still the case even the top VCT teams. No teams have igl who started from Valorant

orangutan imported SEA players and they were very bad in the game against AEC.

Moreover, comms issue is a big thing.

I really cannot understand SEA people speaking English in general (yes some speak it very well) but just an general observation.

It's the case even in pro play. I have watched so many PRX voice comms videos. Cannot understand 60% of the shit they are saying.

its because you're not used to it... yes some of the sea accents are harder for us to understand but the vice versa is true as well..
personally i had some experience with sea players in my team in csgo so im used to it and its fine
its just about giving it some time

Honestly, I don't think it makes a difference.

Skill-wise Indian players at pretty good.

Just, for example, DM from velocity just used to farm SEA in CS. One of the most oppressive aimers in the continent.

He has retained that aim in valorant but all the t1 teams in India have absolutely no discipline.

SkRossi and lightningfast on GE are also very skilled when it comes to individual play (better than any SEA import could offer).

In fact, if any one of these players moved to SEA in a team they would actually do really well.

It's just that they cannot play together as a team and execute strats well enough. Their communication is bad even when they all speak the same language imagine what will happen if they bring in SEA imports.

The best thing that can happen to India is for the teams to bring in coaches from other regions. Enigma has YB from EU and GE hired Damwon's coach. Enigma is already looking like the best team in India by a fair margin (I am seeing GE getting 3-0ed by enigma right now) and GE actually did decent in APAC LCQ with shinobi as a coach with less than one month with them. They fell off afterwards.

Lastly, even if they want to bring in imports who would come? They do not have a big enough salary hike from SEA. Also, Indian teams would prefer to give salaries to Indian pros instead of giving them to a SEA pro because of course, brotherhood and friendship.

Orangutan will have players from Korea (or it is rumoured to be so).
The only reason for not importing players is probably late exposure to VCT tourney. Hopefully this is the only reason and we will see imports till the beginning of next year.

Indian scene is trash because boomer cs failures disguise themselves as VAL pros now . They also have an ego which make it's incapable for their brains to accept criticism . Like a lot of the pros in the Indian scene look like they have very backwards mental attitude , they're only playing to make a quick buck and they'll be back to their mcdonalds career sooner than later . Indian scene will improve truly when we have a big lineup of young talent .

Currently i see orgs not importing players from other regions maybe
1) All indian roster winning vct is there aim
2) No players from outside want to be part of any Indian scene due to its quality and reliability
3) Every team has same time, everyone started this game since beta or the launch
4) language is a smaller aspect cuz everyone here have decent or rather is say simple and clean English but it still matters

They have scope but the execution is a bit off, lack of scrimming with other region teams (even tho I know it is useless)

number 2 is partially true since one of Indonesian player asteriskk (psj roster) got an offer from india but instead of signed it right away he wait and built his own team from Indonesian orgless player. yet they still perform better then SA reps last VCT.

SA players salary higher than SEA? I doubt that. Bleed from singapore literally had imports from EU lol.
That only makes sense if you compare SA Tier 1 teams to SEA Tier 2 or 3 teams.
