This isn't a ranked game. There are numerous games this event alone that prove some teams are better on offense than defense on Split.

split hasn't been a defensive sided map in awhile. I saw a visual where Ascent was the most defensive sided map by far.

in a team vs team scenario it depends more on what the players are feeling and their prep rather than the general trend of the map.

does it matter? we dont know how either team will play, you cant judge a map or a team based off a maps defense/attack potential
