A tortilla is a thin, circular unleavened flatbread originally made from maize hominy meal, and now also from wheat flour. The Aztecs and other Nahuatl speakers called tortillas tlaxcalli. First made by the indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica before colonization, tortillas are a cornerstone of Mesoamerican cuisine

In Brazil do you guys eat tortilla with all your meals? In Mexico we buy like 3 packs and never eat with forks or spoons unless a soup. And even when we do eat a soup with a spoon we still eat tortillas.

We have literal factories for tortillas exclusively lol. I remember just going down the street to the tortilla shop and buying a whole pack and watching as it traveled the conveyer belt and got freshly made.

Here we have a different type of tortilla called Tapioca, it is made with mandioca flour and can be filled with savory or sweet ingredients.
