• micro skill floor is lower in valorant: objectively true, shooting and movement mechanics make certain aspects of the game more simplistic + prone to randomness
• "easier for any region to come up with some cringy comp": because of the lowered skill floor, the discrepancies in mechanical ability between teams are less emphasized than they are in csgo (which is why they have savant level talents like s1mple and we don't). this means that there's more value to focusing on the unique factors like creativity in agent selection and taking your enemy by surprise with prepared tactics than honing your own personal skill
