Should T1 return to Korea & try to compete vs DRX/ONS/DK instead of being Tier2/3 NA?

too little proven talent in KR right now, they would have to wait for the scene to develop more for another year

T1 should develop young talent like the guard if they cant afford expensive player

^ this, a lot of the KR players who have showed potential so far just go to JP cause they offer more than KR

i said available, plus theres no guarantee that this possible team could develop into a #1 team in korea, and korea always gets only 1 slot so its too risky

honestly if drx does well this masters and maybe get kr 2 slots then yeah. there are lots of korean talent in jp who are only in jp cuz of higher salary so an actual well establish org like t1 should bring them home

they got 2 in berlin cuz nuturn did well. slots are based on recent results, so if drx does well this time, i dont see why not

thats assuming they do, this is no guarantee so again its probably too risky so T1 wouldnt do this any time soon

notable talent is like the nuturn core (lakia, suggest, allow) tnl core (meteor hate eko) but there is new talent like foxy9. also there are still good players in kr like sylvan and harry. a team of lakia, foxy9, sylvan, suggest, harry would easily contend with drx

bruh what? are we not forgetting they topped their group in berlin which included 2 emea teams? forgetting they were the only team to take a map off gmb in berlin? forgetting they were 1 round off eliminating the best na team and were 2 rounds from 2-0ing fnc in champs?

they could poach players or train young talent like any other org?

maybe dissolve T1 Academy in NA & do T1 Korea (again)
don't think there are Tier2-3 tournaments as frequen as in NA if at all.
NSG owned by Comcast/T1 have helped NA so maybe they can try again over there, since they wanna be on Riot's good graces whenever Franchise happens

I think it'll explode in the Asia region if DRX-PRX-Xerxia-ZETA does really good this tournament.

T1 should poach the Sla2ers roster and add lakia

a one team region doesnt mean that they lack good players though. i can see different types of teams that can challenge drx easily with the players from korea or the ones playing in japan.

They do lack players though. Their player base is low, and the only good players are ex-CS:GO players. If a game like Overwatch dies out so that talent can transfer over, then there's a discussion.

i doubt it would blow up in korea, cause VS have shown for a while that theyre quite up there when it comes to skill and teamplay. Some of the best in the world, it was just unlucky that during the time their roster was super stable and clean they went up against gambit immediately in the playoffs. Id say back in masters 3 they were probably the second best team there

then that isnt a one team region is it? OnSlayers was the only team with "players that could challenge drx" and you see where that lead them? Multiple clean sweeps by DRX 13-2 twice im p sure.

Korea and JP are probably the last regions they wanna look into. The talent in both regions (yes listen to me first) is incredibly low and DRX dominates because they are simply and anomaly. DRX is an oasis in the middle of the sahara when it comes to talent and skill in that region. I doubt T1 would be able to sign a team good enough to even remotely challenge DRX, at least from what ive seen in KR. OnSlayers were the only team that were able to attain some of the craziest players in KR and JP combining them into a, what ppl thought at the time was a 'dream team', and they did destroy every team... other than DRX. In fact the fact that they sweeped every single team and then got sweeped by drx just goes to show how many leagues above the rest DRX are in KR.
Id say either stick with NA; cause thats been shown to work multiple times by picking up unknown players such as teams like TG and Akrew, I mean just look at who T1 had for the longest time, Sayaplayer and somehow the dude was forced to play support agents; I think maybe the staff at T1 like coaches and GM need to be changed instead since they had such amazing talent in Sayaplayer, Ska, and autimatic.
Either that or invest into BR or SEA, they look to be the quickest up and coming 'regions' with a lot of talent (esp SEA with the abundance of different countries all competing with eeach other to be the rep of a sub region).

you are on something bro.

GodDead, TS, Bazzi, Zunba, and k1ng are all good players but there are plenty who are just as good if not better.
WGS literally 2-0'd ONS.
Hate, eKo, Meteor, Munchkin, allow, suggest, foxy9, Lakia, hyeoni, these guys are all equal if not better than the players on ONS. You could make tier 1 teams out of the admittedly shallow talent pool in KR. Look at HolyMolly. Random FA team that made it to lower GF.
The talent is there, they just need orgs to sponsor and support them.

The new F4Q roster looks good too.
The top 50 players in KR ladder are all cracked but only a few are on org sponsored teams.
C9 Korea, which consisted of BuZz, Bazzi, Munchkin, Xeta, and Hate got 13-1'd by VS. Now Xeta is one of the best Sova players in NA. Bazzi is one of the best Jetts in KR. Munchkin was the best player in Japan last year. BuZz is prob the best player on DRX too.

no br got 1 slot. the only reason lcq of br/latam exists is cuz kru did well, but since the latent pool in latam is so low and that br and latam is geographically the same region, they made it lcq and not 2 slots to latam

2 members of the original f4q have retired. zunba and esperanza are already on good korean teams leaving only fivek from that original roster. the other players on the team arent really proven in the competitive level of vct. plus even maybe hermes might stay at holymolly after exceeding expectations.
