I know they arent as good as FPX and maybe they wont make it deep but i still think they arent as bad as everyone makes them to be

Look at G2 , they lost to Liquid 1st game in the playoffs and just within 2 days , they looked like one of the best Eu teams out there

I feel if Liquid stops doing weird shit and play meta comps , they can still beat any team on a good day

Liquid has so much potential still. With little work and changes they would be real contender team.

It looked like they were just having a bit of an identity crisis, trying to change too much and be too flexible too fast, and it just lead to a lot of confusion.

Soulcas tweeted that they were gonna rebuild and restructure before masters and re-evaluate what they all do. Chances are we’re gonna see them all go back to their strengths and focus on them, building that confidence back before they start to change again

people forget how good EMEA is, if you are able to make playoffs in EMEA for sure you can make it deep in international lans

W Take. I just feel if they don't toy with their comps and have set roles I think they would potentially beat anyone on a good day

People forget that on any given day, any team in Masters can compete and win against other favored teams. This is a top-tier pro scene, details matter.
Therefore if Liquid works on their callouts to nullify the confusion that is sometimes present in their game (probably because they are not yet comfortable with shifting to a different playstyle with each map, something their team comps require) they can literally win it all if they just have a good day at the office lol.

Still, a longshot.

Thing is they have so many weak points.

They might be looking weaker than Fnc or G2 atm but still they can give a tuff fight to any of the teams competing in the event. Hope they comeback and deliver whatever they've prepared for Lan.

Not trying to discredit Liquid but Liquid beat G2 when G2 were having a bad day. I think its more than just the comps, the players are so inconsistent idk if its a mental thing or what. It just seems like there is no stability within the team.

i think people forget liquid were one of the favourites moving into champions, obviously they faltered against acend in the semi finals and then went on their weird comp tangent again but they always look strong when using meta comps. hopefully they dont fuck up again this time, its their prime opportunity to prove they are a top team and honour fpx
