What do you think was TL's problem this season?

I want to talk about the second half of it starting from Stage 2. For me, personally, the main problem was TL's player choices. Like when MiniBoo and wayne left the team, they just put purp0 back onto duelist and brought in two initiators. I mean a smoker and a duelist just left your team and instead of just looking for players of the same roles to replace them, they bring more initiators. I think purp0 wasn't that bad at the initiator role, having Sova and Sky in his arsenal, yet they put him back to duelist where he's limited to just playing Jett. Funny because it became a reason why he was subbed out (TL's post saying that bringing in GSR will give them the best opportunity for success at Champions (probably because he's more flexible with being able to play Yoru)) Then why not just bring GSR earlier at Stage 2 instead of bringing back trexx and let purp0 stay as ini?

They have never built a team out of elite players. Just solid ones. Making 2 internationals with that is solid.

If they want to win their rosters need to be more ambitious.

When Miniboo left the GSR team he was 17 years old and could not play in vct.
You have to consider other things many T2 players have considerable bayouts for the level they play at and it is not easy to make such a choice mid-season when you have players who have already shown their level in VCT and who are free-agent.
