What ranks are most of the T2/T3 teams that aren't the famous pros we know. Are they mostly all Radiant or are some Imm 2/3?

Agreed. If you play enough to be radiant and top 500 it makes sense that you might as well go pro.

Yeah Im assuming if they aren't radiant they are imm3. Im not really trying to go pro but im pushing immo2 and I was curious as to when this "High Immortal" actually starts

Being Radiant doesn't make you T2 or T3, it's the exp in a team in officials and scrims, it also depends on how you perform in these matches.

Yeah ik that. I was jw at what rank does a person consider trying to go pro + being recognized enough to join actual teams

There is no elo that automatically means you are trying to go pro. There are plenty of high immortal and radiant players that arent interested in going pro at all. However, if you are trying to go pro, you wont be taken seriously if you are not AT LEAST immortal every season. In fact there are tournament requirements in VCT that every member of your squad must AT LEAST be immortal. Diamond players and below arent just being taken as a joke to most pro teams, they dont even qualify to play on some occasions.

Here’s a way to look at it.
There are 500 Radiants in NA.
There were (theoretically, and at least) 136 unique teams competing in VCT. That accounts for the 4 invited, 128 in Open Qual 1, and 4 more in Open Qual 2 to replace the 4 that moved on in Open Qual 1. This is based on the assumption that the 124 unsuccessful teams all registered for the second qualifier.
That means there were 680 players in NA VCT, minus a few EU imports.
Very hypothetical math, but TLDR plenty of immortals are competing.
The cutoff for competing in bigger tournaments is either high diamond or immortal, I forget.

id say most of the t2-t3 players are radiant if they play some ranked, but if they don't then they're at least top 1000 on the regular, or their mmr is around that level.
