Is home crowd really always a buff?

I mean, some people can feel pressure and probably not handle it bc ur home scene watching u and have hopes that you will have a good performance

I think a home crowd can add pressure sometimes, but if a team starts to go on a run the crowd can definitely help with confidence.
but tbh, I don't think the crowd plays much into the results.

Crowd buff is kind of rare. Brazilian teams probably get a buff playing in front of their home crowd (though some argue it's because the crowd makes noise to help the team). NA buff is kind of weak since the US is one of the main hubs for VCT. Korean teams don't really get a buff, but I think they are pretty fair in terms of crowds. For EU teams and players, the buff is a coinflip, but it doesn't feel like much happens.

TL;DR - Home crowd buff is pretty much non-existent, save for countries with die-hard fanbases like Brazil. Definitely have to see a Turkish team play in Turkiye (aside from the off-season)
