From what we currently know/assume is:

• Sato only agreed on joining if G2 signs KiNgg aswell
• Valyn CHOSE to leave instead of getting dropped

However if, and this is a BIG if, G2 on their own made the conscious decision to sack Valyn and get KiNgg instead WE GONE HAVE SOME PROBLEMS. Call me crazy call me nuts but Valyn ON HIS OWN > KiNgg AND Sato. Its not like Sato is the 1 true prodigy in VCT that can save this team hell he aint the only prodigy on his own team. ON TOP OF THAT, AMERICAS HAS OXY AND ZEKKEN TO OFFER TOO. G2 couldve just deadass waited for OXY's contract to expire (which was supposedly till November per rumors), same for Zekken too. Just get them and keep valyn aswell.
Although this all is based off of an unlikely outcome of G2 dropping Valyn instead of the other way around.

ALSO I AINT BELIEVING THIS FUCKASS LEAK TILL I SEE EITHER G2 OR VALYN POST ABOUT IT THEMSELVES. There is no way Valyn just leaves G2 now when he arguably had a better offer to play at MIBR last year, his only condition was that he brings Trent along too but now hes leaving G2 when Trent re-signed?... Sato is so much better than jaw and that’s really all that matters lmao we can do with a slightly worse igl if it means a significant upgrade in firepower on other roles. Also kingg’s flexibility can open up some comp avenues

You're coping hard brother. It's not crazy if G2 wanted a change in culture and thought of King, but I still think Valyn chose to leave. He seems to be the most affected by the fact that G2 got 0 fans, and he probably partially blames G2 for it, just see him asking the twitter admin to simmer down. He probably wants to go somewhere he can get more fans (sentinels, maybe). As for Sato I agree, I even would prefer Oxy and Zekken over him all day and night, so I hope he wasn't part of a package deal, cause that would be very stupid.

I mean i guess its normal but not for the IGL role because what if you do if the team doesnt mesh well moving forward? if you sack the player youre ruining his year and if you dont youre ruining your own. KiNgg isnt that like goated of an IGL too, iirc Neon is their defence side caller on LEV and Onur makes up most of the set strats they have, not saying hes bad hes just no Valyn. Also most moves like this happen during the offseason aswell which makes it more acceptable, Theyre doing this shit with 1 week left for their match at Champs.

Im not underrating sato, phenominal player but he isnt the ONLY phenominal player G2 couldve gotten. This all is just based off if G2 let Valyn go and not the other way around. If Valyn CHOSE to leave then yeah theres nothing that can be done but oh boy if its the other way around theres nothing they can do to explain this move
