is there any beef between brazilians and portuguese people these days or no?
is there any beef between brazilians and portuguese people these days or no?
Basically
-Brazilian news sites seeking engagement post biased news about Brazilians suffering xenophobia in Portugal...
-A bunch of low IQ people respond by saying that Portugal is "the favela of Europe," a country of "Moors," "being replaced". Other stupid teenagers make jokes about "you stole our gold" or "brazilian guiana."
-the portuguese respond with xenophobia: "favela dwellers," "murderers," "prostitutes."
It's a vicious cycle.
Same thing with Argentinians, it's only on internet, in everyday life we kiss each other's asses.
On the internet and probably some old people in Portugal but in real life I think its all good
apart from some crazy ass mfs overall i think theres some friendly banter between the two but no real beef
From the perspective of long-term socioeconomic development and human rights, the exploitative colonization had profoundly negative consequences for the formation of Brazil
A settlement colonization would bring to Brazil an economic base oriented toward the domestic market, free labor, and the distribution of small landholdings, thereby avoiding the severe social inequality generated by exploitation
Portugal opted for a model of exploitative colonization primarily due to the mercantilist system of the time, which sought the rapid enrichment of the Crown through the extraction of wealth and colonial trade.
Human rights violations:
Genocide and Ethnocide
Indigenous Slavery
Cultural Destruction
Slave Trade (Treatment as Commodity)
Forced Labor and Torture
Denial of Identity
But apart from that, I think its all fun and laughs nowadays
