I considered that as well but we have been mostly banning Split and imo NS's Split is better than their Sunset. Definitely possible though, if we do ban Sunset then NS picks Split for sure and I'm interested to see what we have planned.

I also assume that NRG would be banning Split. It’s a map that favors NS more, especially because of their agent proficiency around their star player, and overall it’s a stronger map for NS than Sunset. The main question is whether NRG’s weakness on Sunset is significant enough to offset that and make them prioritize banning it instead.

I`m takign a wild guess and expect NRG to have something cooked up for split

split is a great neon map for NS which NRG haven’t played all of stage 2, sunset they’ve been practicing on for a while with some good reps + dambi doesn’t play neon here, summit is very much a weak map for NS and NRG probably have the best summit itw. NRG are undefeated on haven currently but I do think NS might pivot into that instead of ascent where they don’t feel as comfortable

I dont wanna make another thread so here is my prediction:
NS ban lotus, NRG ban sunset
NS pick abyss, NRG pick summit
NS ban haven, NRG ban split
decider is ascent (or split)

NS is heavily favored in the veto since they ban our best map and are good on our 3 worst maps.

The only caveat is split, which I actually think NRG are fine on but had no reason to show in playoffs. If that is the case, its better to ban sunset. If we ban split NS will have complete control of the veto, whereas if we ban sunset they'll likely play abyss over an unknown split AND we'll have a choice on the last map.

Also abyss is easier to fix than sunset imo.

Hmm, I think NS picking Split is a no brainer if we don't ban it, as their Split is super strong. I guess the question is if we would rather play Abyss or Sunset.

I though Sunset would be better but I don't hate playing into Abyss either
