Not only has FNC had their Champions qualification streak ended, this also marks the end of the yearly Champions El Classico. Regardless of whether or not DRX make Champions Shanghai 2026, for the first time in VCT history the two titans won't be able to face off in a Champions event.
The greatest international fixture on the greatest international stage will have to wait at least another year. Thank you, DRX and FNC, for the last 5 years. Hopefully the former can keep their Champions streak alive. How the mighty have fallen.
Also annoyed because we can't get our get back this year, as per usual. Even-numbered years are supposed to mean DRX get the better of FNC and win the El Classico. Oh well, as long as we can keep our record and make sure to qualify for an international event every year.
