Good map design rewards tactical play far more than just out-aiming people. VCT is not supposed to be a professional deathmatch game

Ya ofc you still need aim, no one said aim wasnt important. But good map design prioritizes the tactical side of the game like rotates, diversity in the ways you can attack, how easy/hard retakes are on certain sites, etc. Of course those tactics only work if you shoot your opponent in the head, but the tactical side still needs to exist or the game turns into slop
No it’s not, you literally can’t A split or you will lose with 100% certainty. It’s not a good map if you can’t split one of the sites. Even B splits suck although they’re a lot more doable than A splits. 5 man hits every round are not fun
Just obliterate the mid, get a chopper to carry the crates away, and nuke A site
