Even with eeiu out Furia first ban NRG's best map Lotus and first pick their worst map Sunset so it should be a close game

There are so many reasons to wish for Furia's victory.
It's so unfortunate they wont win
If NRG win they are almost guaranteed top 3 in points.

Top 2 in points advance to champs so if any of NRG, G2 or LEV make top 2 in the split (which is very likely) the other two will also make it.
The main contribution is the +5 from placing third and the +4 from placing 4th in the stage.
NRG are currently 5 points ahead of Furia. If they win this game they will have a 6 point lead to both Furia and 100T as well as h2h advantage. Makes it impossible for Furia to overtake NRG regardless of how the group stage goes.
100T can still overtake but they’d have to top their group and place 3rd/4th and simultaneously have NRG losing out.
Also even if g2 and lev don’t make top 2, if NRG place top 4 they could still make it through.

does all this mean that if we beat furia today + win at least 1 more game this group stage then g2/lev making grand finals/us making top 4 100% guarantees us making champs no matter what
So we’ll end the split 3-2, putting us at 14 points.
If Furia or 100T win every group stage game and place 3rd they’ll have 14 points but we’d have the h2h vs both teams so yes

This is not guaranteed at all because LEV currently have a 5 point lead and both teams have the h2h against us. If LEV finish 5-0 and g2 place 4th then even 3rd won’t be enough. Theres too many factors to say exactly.
It’s not even guaranteed against 100T/Furia because h2h in playoffs also counts and if they win there it will go to h2h map/round differential.
Basically nothing is certain, this game matters a lot but it’s not be all end all. We just have to see how the stage plays out.
