would u take this deal:
you are able to skip all ur work hours, so if u work 9-5, the second u clock in at 9, time skips to 5 and u still get paid, ur work still gets done, but u dont have to actually do it
my instinct would be to say yes, but id legit lose out on 20-25 years of my life, so idk

so what actually happens? is it like going to sleep and waking up, where a different version of yourself does your work, or do you just straight up get teleported through space and time to 5pm without actually working and everyone is magically mind controlled into not noticing

It depends, I personally won’t accept because I am going to do research, which I like, and a researcher in France doesn’t make great money right away so really there is no advantage for me to accept
Maybe I would’ve said yes if I was somewhat close to retiring and or already made good money in a field where I didnt have that much left to see
nah you cant automate life away, the only part that is appealing to "cut out" would be no longer needing to sleep but even then i feel sometimes its like sweet relief
