i'd say its nrg 65-35 xlg; cuz nrg played ewc qual just last week so less prep time could hurt them

Xi Lai Gaming vs. NRG Analysis

[Map Picks/Ban]
NRG Ban Split; XLG Ban Fracture;
NRG Picks Breeze; XLG Picks Lotus;
NRG Ban Ascent; XLG Ban Pearl;
Haven Remains

[Map 1/2: Breeze] [Depending on which team picks map first] NRG 79%, XLG 21%

  • NRG will most likely dominate unless Happywei preps harbor
  • Playing Viper leaves XLG weak on retakes against an execute heavy team such as NRG.

[Map 1/2: Lotus] NRG 47%, XLG 53%

  • Attacker sided map, will depend on how well NRG anti-strats XLG's triple sentinel comp.
  • Hoping to see a comp change from NRG, if I was Bonkar I would unironically prep:
    Mada - Raze, Keiko - Omen, Scuba - Senti, Ethan - Fade/Kayo/Tejo, with Brawk. on Sova
    Sounds stupid on paper but teams have found success running double recon on Lotus, Brawk's odin should be the win condition against XLG's stall heavy postplants/defenses.

[Map 3: Haven] NRG 63%, XLG 37%

  • NRG should dominate on paper, but XLG is not a bad Haven Team.
  • NRG's A site retakes against XLG's A site hits should be the focus of this match.
