Hello everyone!
First off, happy Pride Month to everyone celebrating! Even as a cis-het guy, I completely recognize how important this month is to the community, which is exactly why I’ve been so shocked by the current discourse surrounding Valorant on Twitter. For those who aren't aware, a lot of players and allies feel like Valorant hasn't done enough to support and encourage the LGBTQ+ community. And honestly, I agree! While we do have some representation (Killjoy and Raze holding it down for the 'L and B,' Clove representing the 'T,' and my teammates flawlessly representing the 'G' in my ranked games), we are still missing a lot of the alphabet. Fortunately, I have an incredibly simple solution to fix all of this: make every single male character a femboy or a trans woman. Personally, I would be fully supportive of this creative direction, specifically starting with some highly anticipated, heavily feminized agent skins.
What do you all think? Is this enough to save Valorant's reputation, or does Riot need to go even further?
Edit: Wow, I didn't realize there were so many homophobes on VLR. I am very disappointed in this community.
