I think he's just a really popular ranked streamer, but nothing really made him popular like the rankers team so he's gonna get washed if he ever makes it to tier 1
Popular doesn't feel right because a lot of people follow him for his cracked clips, but he is a bit controversial within that streamer space among other streamers. He's definitely not gonna be like RANKERS since that was a whole team rather than one person. A lot of opportunity to disappoint if he does not maintain his aim with proper comps and other agents and duelists.
The controversy around Haeyoday is that many people believe he is connected to, or possibly the same person as, Jimbo, a former Call of Duty player infamous for cheating. The accusations mainly come from old linked accounts like Steam, Twitch, Kovaaks, and social media that appear tied to both identities, which led to a big exposé video and community discussion. Haeyoday has denied being Jimbo and responded publicly, and there is still no proof that he has cheated in Valorant or that he is definitively Jimbo. So the controversy is less about proven cheating in Valorant and more about his alleged connection to a known former cheater, which is why people are bringing it up again after NRG Academy signed him.
