do people care about regional trophies in any esport? the only other one i actively follow is rocket league and they dont even bother lol, regional events are treated solely as qualifiers for majors/worlds

i just dont see how it's my fault that im bored by these boring meaningless games when it's riot's job to make them exciting and meaningful

If you want more then 1 team at Masters then you're going to end up with "pointless" seeding matches. It really is not Riot's fault that people are incapable of viewing the current stages as anything more then a qualifier.

My point is that Riot isn't trying to make the regionals nothing more then qualifiers, they want them to be their own self contained tournaments. Kickoff was just a qualifier, the Stages are tournaments.
