I do but most phones have smart systems. Its a possibility yes, but with iPhones they have a system that detects temperature to prevent overheating. So it could happen, but its unlikely. Still bad for the battery unless you have smart charging. Almost always best practice to never keep it plugged in after 100% without smart charging.
