After India came out as the 2nd best T2 region in Pacfic in 2025 i thought the memes against us will stop, But everyone still doesnt takes us seriously, I have also been called the R slur 4 times on this site for praising my region by providing facts..... Our teams beat SEA teams regularly, Korean teams only look at their 50% best against us, GE academy also gave tough fight to Korean academies. Our orgs are richer than SEA orgs, Viewership is reaching Japan levels but still everyone treats our teams like they are a team from EMEA.
Edit: this comes after a post where i predicted that India might replace korea in pacific after korea's downfall.. but everyone replied with LOL's

Bro i saw these games and had hope for the vlt team but the way they just shat the bed against nongshim and boom after that and rossi just looked lost on cypher most of the time are there any recent games I dont follow tier 2 so i dont know much
Thats because they didnt had good coaching staff... And you are making fun of them for losing in playoffs, but just look at who they lost against... Nongshim... They won master from that run.
If you see them during ascension they were nowhere near the nongshim that even won kickoff and the way vlt played during groups they looked like a team to consider that couldve won and also if they had given a fight in those matches that would still be good but they just ran over every single round a looked like completely opposite from group stage. I am not making fun of them i was just disappointed on what they showed in playoffs because they clearly had the potential to make into tier 1
They simply got countered well against well coached teams because of break before the playoffs.. Thats why im saying if they had better coaching staff they would have won.

I think people are mocking you less because of India improving, and more because of the “replace Korea” statement. India’s VALORANT scene has definitely grown a lot in recent years — better infrastructure, bigger orgs, more viewers, and stronger Tier 2 performances. That part is true.
But replacing Korea is still a huge claim. Korea still has one of the strongest esports systems in the world in terms of coaching, discipline, player development, and long-term international results. Taking maps or pushing academy teams close is different from consistently outperforming an entire region.
That said, the disrespect toward Indian teams is also exaggerated. A lot of people still judge India based on old stereotypes instead of current results. The region is clearly improving and deserves more respect than it gets right now.
Appreciate it man, finally some kind words, and yeah i took it too far with that replacing korea claim.
Half the indian orgs lowkey cook China and would destroy that region but people are too blind to see it-
Skrossi said it himself after that VLT run in 2025. He said Indian teams don't have opportunity to fight against teams from other region due to distance, quality of player in server, and still lacks in experiences or knowledge about the game.
Some Indian orgs I think said about these teams have no ambitions, and especially lacks understanding when fight against really good discipline team because they have better infrastructure and better understanding of protocols and utilities.
I think India VALORANT looks very promising but your dream is realistically still a dream. There are many hurdles that India need to take to evolve their VALORANT scene and honestly they won't be able to do it until next year. I think SEA will be what most likely replace Korean VALORANT. VLT takes bootcamp in Thailand to try and scrim against top APAC opponents hence it work. I don't think if you purely depends on India to grow itself right now it'll work though.
Still, it's a good ideas to get these talented players from India to global stage. The more you have, the more likeliness that they can bring back real growth to India VALORANT scene.
Appreciate it brother, And yes i totally agree with you, for now its best for Indian teams which get selected for Pacfic to do a bootcamp in Thailand, But i only had the problem with few people who always overlook the VLT run in 2025 and still say bad about our region... Although yeah compared to other regions that run was nothign special but for us with no history in PC esports it was historic.
They havent made any deep runs in ascension.
Ascension 2025 they finished 5th-6th.
Ascension 2024 they finished 8th
Ascension 2023 they finished dead last.
So no they are definately not the second best t2 region.
But they definitely can upset some good teams.
The ascension 2025 run is rated highly among many as they only lost to previous T1 teams and twice to Nongshim who won master in that run.
i mean its similar to why most ppl barely know mena
ppl mostly watch the t2 scene of their subregion only
and most ppl on this site arent from mena (or india in ur case) so ppl dont talk abt the region a lot
