-filu (cuz of the drama)
+globeX
W move or nah?
he has a persona "im better than everyone else" not trexx like
trexx' problem is that he is blunt and tells everything straight without any veil (which is common in CIS region, he never had any personality dramas during his time in CIS teams)
rightfully so tbh, from what ive heard globex is a good teammate but probs just has the confidence in himself, im not sure about the other claim that he has a "bad" persona
nah this fr, roster moves dont happen cause of twitter beef. globex would have to actually be available and make sense as a pickup for that to happen at all
navi does not hire russian players anymore since the war started, so not happening.
They're a Ukrainian team, they aren't going to hire russian players bc of the war. they most likely get filu out in place of Sevire or Kozzy when the required age to compete drops to 16.
globeX repped the Polish flag at one point, I'm 99% sure he doesn't live in russia anymore, so Navi could take him
their line is to not hire people living in Russia as to not contribute to Russian taxes towards war
Yeah, but he is repping it now that's the problem. Navi being a Ukrainian org most likely has a LOT of Ukrainian fans, so Ukrainians seeing their Ukrainian team pick up a Russian is going to leave a sour taste and be bad for PR. Sevire or Kozzy when he comes of age is more realistic, GlobeX would be great but I also respect Navi's POV here.
(Side note, that's the most times I've ever said ukrainian in a sentence-)
i highly doubt they pass up on GlobeX purely off of him being russian
The CS team has had russians on the team in the past, even as a ukrainian org
electroNic, Boombl4 and perfecto come to mind
yeah, in the past
since the 2022 war they don't have any russian players and will not until the war ends
all 3 that i mentioned were contracted through a portion of 2023 according to liquipedia
i understand what you mean though
i believe they had cloud till the end of 2022 and even then shao and suygetsu are russians but they didnt play with russian flags.
Boombl4 was dropped almost immediately when the war started.
electroNic and Perfecto agreed to change their residency, so in Navi's records they just weren't russian, hence why they stayed.
If GlobeX is willing to do that then maybe they'll let him, but I think even then NAVI is steering clear of Russian players. if they weren't then Navi would probably have a CIS roster by now with Ukrainians and Russians which would be peak NGL.
I don't remember clearly so forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think that was after navi
navi are not signing any russian players, even if they change their rep or recidency. Navi wont even sign ukrainians that play in russian teams, cause that places a shadowban on them.
they literally have shao on the bench rn
yeah hes not playing under russian flag but he is russian
shao and suy got their spots by being part of FPX core. Ask any CIS player and he tells you the same thing about navi
Thats exactly why he's on the team. He cut ties with russia, residentially and financially.
He's a citizen of serbia IIRC. Meaning as far as NAVI is concerned Shao is Serbian.
No, He renounced his russian citizenship right when he was signed. and he never played for a Russian org aside from PP which was just orgless at the time. If shao had said he wanted to remain russian, Navi would have replaced him even though he was on the main roster.
since globeX is on barca i assume hes at least willing to fully change residency if he hasnt already
He'd have to completely cut ties with russia, can't represent their flag, can't live there, Literally can't be legally russian.
On barca, he's still russian although he's living in spain.
yeah fair, i assume for tax purposes. he would have to fully renounce citizenship
which, how old is he? cuz a minor fully cutting ties with birth country may be difficult, especially if hes still got family there
but if hes being considered for Navi i assume hes at least 18?
I think he's 19 yeah, but still I don't think globex is cutting ties with Russia considering how hard he fought for the Polish/Russian Citizenship.
not sure if u were aware but if u go on his twitter profile u can see that he lives in the uk, iirc he represented team uk in spike nations when i was watching them so ngl he might have multiple citizenship so im sure it wouldnt be difficult for him to renounce citizenship
navi can even decline to sign another ukrainian player if they have played in a russian org/with russian players. players like reblyik, sunflower or stonezy are under shadowban since they play with russian players
not sure if any of u were aware but if u go on his twitter profile u can see that he lives in the uk, iirc he represented team uk in spike nations he must have multiple citizenship so im sure it wouldnt be difficult for him to renounce citizenship
Shao and Suygetsu renounced their Russian citizenship right before they were signed to NAVI. They were legally serbian on Navi so they were fine.
same with Electron1c and Perfecto for CS, they relocated somewhere when they were on NAVI and didn't rep the russian flag.
GlobeX reps the russian flag and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon, so I think NAVI are gonna look elsewhere.
who cares about him being a diddler he also sucks at the game get him gone
Absurdly W move even without the Filu drama he can flex smokes and duellist which is what Filu was doing before anyway
He was repping the Polish flag last year + I'm sure he's not located in Russia
NAVI CS kept electroNic and Perfecto on the roster in 2022 under the condition that they relocate out of Russia, same thing with Cloud in their 2022 Valorant roster and when they signed Shao and SUYGETSU
As long as he repped the Polish flag and doesn't live in Russia I don't see a reason why they wouldn't pick him up
Even then, he’d have to remove his russian citizenship entirely, navi said themselves they will not work with anyone paying taxes to the russian federation. So globeX would have to completely leave Russia. Considering how hard it is to get a dual-citizenship I don’t think that he’d be down.
