i wish too for gekko and breach, but asking too much for now from incompetent balancing dev
at least i wish for a simple balancing like the cooldown differential like the controllers

I don't know how you can read the article they just posted with the patch notes and think they're incompetent. Devs have very clear insight into the state of the game but these changes take time and they're also trying to listen to a crybaby playerbase that gives conflicting feedback

Gekko has gotta be able to pick up buddies from a short distance away, like maybe 7m with line of sight. It's impossible to develop reliable playbooks with how the refresh currently works

Also Dizzy needs to either be a better flash or better recon instead of mediocre at both

Tejo cooldown specifically one missile at a time and only when all existing casts have been used

Other than that yeah I'm not sure why they don't just have variable cooldowns. Kayo should be 50s tho if we're doing it this way

tejo doesn't need any buff, it's actually pretty strong as a niche agent already and salvos are by far the most toxic piece of utility in the game when they regenerate

He will need a buff when initiator cooldowns go down though

Right now it's fine bc he gets 2 salvo to start, instead of 1 dart now and 1 dart later. But when Sova and Kayo start getting 3 signature casts per round, his 2 slow ass missiles are not gonna cut it

it doesn't matter wether the 2 missiles will cut it or not against the competition, broken utility like that isn't meant to be matched with the other initiators because if you follow this kind of thought process you'll end up making him a broken agent again. He has his niche and he'll still have it even if the doesn't get buffs

You overestimate the value of a single salvo. Just as an example, one salvo cannot prevent a full health player from defusing at half. Every other molly in the game can. In most scenarios, one dart hard clears one salvo.

It's DOUBLE salvos specifically that are the strongest init tool, which allow you to have space priority at round start, negate two flood avenues on site hit, and completely prevent a defuse.

Tejo was overpowered when he could do all three of these in the same round due to multiple instances of double salvo. If he gets a singular salvo recharge, only when both have been used, and at least 10s after sova/fade get another scan, he could still only do one of these per round, and would not be broken. He just gets an extra molly in slower-than-average rounds.
