VAL champion teams lack consistency.

Why doesn't VAL produce teams like T1 in LoL or VIT in CS?
Not a single team has made it to Champions grand final for two consecutive years.
I had high hopes for NRG, but given the current situation, I can’t say they’ve lived up to them.

Idk about LoL Valorant has a way more unstable meta than CS it's way more difficult to maintain consistency in a game that could release or buff a macro altering agent like Tejo, Yoru or Neon that destroys your entire stratbook every like 3-4 months

why doesnt a 6 year old game have as much development as a 17 year old and 26 year old game ??

T1 won back-to-back WCS titles in 2015 and 2016, and finished as runners-up in 2017. This was about six years after the game’s release, and there isn’t much difference between it and the current version of VAL.

league has a massive skill ceiling and cs basically never changes

Because there hasnt been a single good team that has won champs and stayed together

ACEND - bums
LOUD - disbanded
EG - disbanded
EDG - bums
NRG - s0m left and bums

LOUD could've, 1st in 22 and 3rd in 23 with two large downgrades but i guess we'll never know for certain

meta changes all the time, teams don’t stay together, it’s pretty obvious

You might need to look outside just LoL and there are pretty much rarely games that did that. CS should be Astralis if you want to compare but DoTA 2 for example rarely has consecutive T1 for nearly a decade before OG. It's not only about consistency but game elements, right moments, and most importantly great lineup too. Still, Valorant produce quite a lot of consistent team.

Currently, I think PRX is the most consistent but not dominated like LOL T1 no? They are not Champions but they pretty much are king without trophies.

I think FS might be another one soon if they can maintain their strategy and T1 actually would be if they evolved by letting players play many Agent and don't scare of losing in Group Stage. FNC will also come back to be a consistent one once their lineup stabilize, and G2 likely will be as their identity stabilized.
