"I don't know if she was missed by the team, but she was missed by me. I'm not gonna lie. Potter and I have a really strong connection, I missed her a ton this whole week. I texted her, it was something more health-related. Not having her here is something that really bums me out.

I was in the same mindset of doing everything for her. I'm super grateful to anyone who gives me a shot, who teaches me. She's a person who every single day says good things, teaches me, gives me a kick in the pants. She was a winner in her career, I truly believe that. I just wanted to win today to hand it to her"

not tryna read too much into this but the way he talks about potter directly indicates that past teams and coaches treated him like shit. Poor guy, had a rough career despite being really really cracked
