All Gamers breezes past Trace in quick 2-0

The first match of the day pitted Group Alpha's first seed against Group Omega's fourth seed in their first meeting of 2026. After their Kickoff win, AG had an up-and-down 3-2 group stage, but still managed to take the first seed via a three-way tiebreaker.

The series started on Trace's map pick of Split. Double Duelist variations were a consistent theme for the day, with Trace picking Neon and Waylay and AG opting for Jett and Raze. AG got out to a hot 6-0 start off the back of a bonus round 4K from K1ra , but a Sheriff 1v2 from Viva gave Trace a way back into the half as they pulled it back to 7-5.

The second half was all AG. Trace could find no answers to AG's site executes as a pistol round win snowballed into a 13-6. K1ra topfragged on his signature Split Raze pick with 21 kills to 13 deaths and 297 ACS.

Lotus started out contentious. Trace won the pistol and found success in their C hits, while AG responded with a Sheriff eco win in round five to draw the score to 4-4. From there, the rest of the map was dominant in favor of AG, going up 8-4 after a heroic 1v3 from f4ngeer and converting to a smooth 13-6 win with a near-perfect attacking side.

AG remains undefeated on Lotus with a 5-0 record in Stage 1. They move on in the upper bracket to face EDG on Monday, May 4, while Trace will fight for survival against DRG in the lower bracket tomorrow, May 3.

EDG dispatches DRG 2-1 in group stage rematch

Coming into this match between the second and third seeds of Group Omega, EDG was 2-0 in the 2026 head-to-head, having defeated DRG in week two this stage and in the Kickoff lower bracket.

DRG opened by picking Lotus, where they fielded Neon and Waylay versus EDG's Raze and Phoenix. Individual prowess earned DRG an early 6-2 lead, with SpiritZ1 finding a 3K to win the bonus and vo0kashu picking up an ace in round eight.

EDG managed to stabilize the half after a clean 3K from CHICHOO in the following round, making the score 7-5 at halftime, but DRG took back control on their attack side, winning the last six rounds in a row to take Lotus 13-7.

Map two was EDG's pick of Split, where they utterly dominated on their defense for a 10-2 half. DRG got shut out no matter where they went; ZmjjKK ran rampant with his signature Operator, capping the half off with an ace of his own in round 12. DRG attempted to run it back in the second half but got stopped at seven rounds as EDG comfortably closed things out.

Breeze was the series decider. The last time these two teams met, EDG won on Breeze 13-5; this time went similarly as EDG went 9-3 up on their defense. DRG again struggled to break through EDG's site holds on both sides, getting fully locked out of A main on multiple occasions. A second ace for ZmjjKK was the nail in the coffin as it got EDG up to 11 rounds, enabling them to win the map 13-7 and the series 2-1.
