Gap Between NA T2 and EMEA T2

Is actually so MASSIVE. Players like chloric, glyph, and seven were pretty good in NA tier 2 but never won ascension go to EMEA and become the best or the second best players on their teams. Then we have frauds like c0m0b0ck and s0y0n0r0 who were the most glazed EMEA tier 2 players who turned out to be incredibly mid or shit.

Nah NA is just shit at scouting

That has literally zero correlation to what I'm trying to say...

It very much does though these players wouldn't play in emea if na teams knew how to scout also this is quite poor selection bias anyway bbl is performing fine and there have been far more successful pick ups from emea t2 that weren't even that good in t2 yet did way better than stats would suggest like ara and flickless

holy selection bias

Selection bias how exactly?

you chose the two EMEA players with poor perceived performances, completely ignored people like kajaak and all of the turkish teams

you also completely invented stories about glyph and chloric, glyph is very arguably the worst player on his team and chloric is at best third on NAVI

glyph is very arguably the worst player on his team

He's a support player and he has been putting up a crazy APR prior to this stage and he's also second in stats anyways this stage. Look at players like starxo and bipo (someone who has less than a 1 rating and kd on every single duelist) and tell me that glyph is the worst player lmfao

"hes a support player" is cope created to deflect and hope people forget his numerous mistakes throughout kickoff

his teammate was dropping 130 kills and he almost single handedly dragged them out of kickoff because he couldn't even perform the basics in a clutch on astra, like placing his stars down in the wrong place, or using a stun instead of a suck in postplant

"hes a support player" but he cant support? what can he do then?

Talking about selection bias while you just went into my reply and cherry picked the parts that you could argue the best and ignored everything else is fucking crazy LMAOOOO, yeah let's just ignore the fact that he's the second highest rated for M8 this stage and players like starxo and bipo are doing fucking shit LMAOOO.

vlr rating is absolutely meaningless....

but if you seriously place weight on it, how about the fact that despite playing a "support role", i.e. taking less duels, more likely to survive later into the round (which VLR rating is heavily biased towards) he still has a 0.95 on the year and is the fourth highest rated on the team, only ahead of bipo by 0.06 (who is also not good), who's job is to effectively commit suicide round-by-round for marteen

even with 47 less deaths, he can barely top that

i mean he chose 2 of the best t2 talents from emea

then uses vlr rating as the basis of evaluating performances in the thread, of which sayonara is a top 10 player in the region in (?)

its a nonsensical vibes based argument

idrc about this argument, but you cant convince me that eu t2 has been better than NA t2

glyph has been ass
seven is good cant hate on him
chloric only had one life game against dysfunctional th
we also have good tier 2 player
they are just too young to play
kozzy gsr etc
even ninja on pcf is redeeming himself

Kozzy, gsr, and other young players haven't played in tier 1 yet, everyone was saying that sayonara would be the next big thing and he's incredibly mid despite dominating tier 2 so jumping the gun on any of these players without any feats is crazy.

Also glyph is quite literally M8's second best player this stage. Mind you he's a hella good support/smoke player so only looking at his kills prior to this stage is kinda crazy

Are we still in santiago or are we in stage 1 right now? why do we care about if he did "bad" in santiago if he's doing good now lmfao. This is the same shit as saying "Oh yeah aspas is shit because he did shit at Shanghai no shot he's going to be good at Seoul!!"

comeback hasnt been good in t1 but lowkey hasnt been in an environment where he can succeed
he was far and away the best t2 player with the rest of bbl in 2025 but since he left he's just not the same player

sayo also hasn't even been bad, just not as good as we

also glyph and chloric "best or second best on their team" lmfao

Teams just hate setting up the players they pick up to succeed
TH picking up Comeback and then forcing him to play hard entry when he's never been a hard entry players is top 10 braindead things a team could do ever I think lmao

I definitely agree Comeback can work in the right environment, just needs to get put in a situation where he can actually play to his strengths

If he went back to bbl in place of lovers rock I think we'd see him back in the form he was in last year
