vct region playstyle archetypes

every team has different approaches to the game that changes depending on the team they face, some teams don't have any approach like ENVY

fine I'll make the mistake of taking a NHC post seriously.

Whilst in general every vct team each have different playstyle playing and scrimming vs each other changes how the teams of the region as a whole approach the meta. I think this most heavily influenced by the dominant teams in the region. For example, EMEA and APAC have starkly different styles of play whilst EMEA tends to prefer playing slower more defaulty comps, APAC prefers to play faster-paced execute heavy comps. Sounds kind of like FNC's and PRX's favored style of play, although even they are probably also affected by the teams in their region's preference for one style of play over the other. It's like if everyone you are practicing vs and playing in matches all think the meta is heading towards faster paced comps, you'd be more inclined to switch a faster tempo comp.

Although this isn't exactly the only reason regions have their own archetypes since it isn't exactly hard to steal comps from other regions but it'd still be different since if your region has a different meta read then you'd be playing against different comps from your inspiration in another region meaning you'd have to still make the adaptations and develop the comp in your own way which would lead to different playstyles for even mirrored comps.

There's probably a lot more I am missing but I think this the general jist of things.
