i know theyve been praised alot for their firepower, but is their firepower better than nrg, g2 and mibr's firepower? if so, how much better?

Pretty substantial, the one with the least firepower on the team is kingg and we know that guy can shoot

It’s a healthy mix of both. NRG won champs despite the fact all of the teams they faced (minus GX probably) had better firepower than them
ultimately you can try aim diffing the other team and you’ll get pretty far, but you need good macro/micro/teamplay in order to contend for trophies

well cryo isn’t the only source of firepower on the team, vora and bang are very good shooters & timotino has great carry potential

yea i feel like u need to be above a certain level firepower wise, but after that macro/micro/teamplay is what makes a trophy winning team

alym can shoot, eeiu can definitely shoot, koalanoob is getting better with a rifle, artzin can shoot when he’s not on duelist or initiator, nerve is their worst shooter imo but he’s had his moments

and i am VERY sure, any perceived inconsistency doesn't come from lack of mechanics and firepower, they just haven't dialed in all other aspects of team play

They're getting incredibly overrated because people are looking purely at their peak. Sato and Neon are solid the rest are being put on a pedestal that they don't belong on. I'd argue they aren't even top 5

Even Sato is not Top 3 duelist in Americas, I dont know how people are putting Lev as best fire power.
