if the balance team just reverted every single agent change back to whatever patch champs was played on the current meta would be 1000x healthier? a lot of agents were (possibly too) but at least that meant we had diverse comps, now they just keep nuking everything that’s good until neon and viper are all that’s left

Waylay and yoru would need slight tweaks I think but aside from that yeah I think it had at least another 1/2 tournaments before it became solved
Especially with the harbor rework and stuff
I hate that they balance by making good agents shit rather than by making bad agents good

"Abilities help you take fights"-We nerf the very tools that really allow others to take fights so selfish agents take center stage
And then they wonder why the selfish agents get picked more and nerf them till they become unplayable
It's because everyone complains about "power creep" otherwise. Gamers are impossible to satisfy
Shh they haven’t realized that agents with fuel that can use abilities whenever they want are gonna continue to dominate this util starved meta
I think the meta now would be better than champs meta if they just made sentinels playable

Almost every agent was viable and so many teams had unique comps/playstyles
I like the current state of initiators tbh. I don't think the nerf to 60s is that big of a deal
I mean it was universal so it was fine but i would've liked mayb the duelist signatures to get a 3 kill regen then as fairness. Basically less Opportunities to fight cuz the inits got the 60s
Duelists having to get 2 kills is already a very steep condition considering they are always going to be the ones getting traded out first. Like compare that to initiators who: if you do a fast execute you are pretty much guaranteeed 2 uses (for execute & post) or 3 uses if you do more defaulting before executing.
Duelist can only use their twice signatures if they get 2 kills, they aren't guaranteed anything

You're talking about pre-nerf right? Because 11.08 exactly changed this.
You only get one signature charge if you're doing a fast execute, two if you're defaulting more, and a forbidden third if you're running the clock all the way down

disagree because i think santiago meta was just the natural evolution of the champs meta. if they reverted most teams would just run santiago comps and they didn't on champs because they were still figuring yoru out
