and the yoru nerfs help the other duelists get back their original spots.
no one wants to see yoru waylay + yoru raze every map
jett + raze, yoru + iso, waylay + neon, yoru chamber are still very good options which is why i think now the agent is finally being put in an actual spot of play instead of being supreme every map.
or mybe they lost because they couldn't win their own map pick of split while not playing yoru?
play yoru = 8 rounds
no yoru = 4 rounds
It's 0 in every other region and GenG are most likely giving up on it too
every agent is picked in ranked, that doesnt mean anything. The pickrate is 0 in pro play, that means he's not good anymore. Just because you think he is playable doesnt mean anything when actual professionals dont play him and theres a good reason for that.
alr so last year, jett was basically at 0 before icebox came in. does that mean she was bad?
same with vyse... before lotus vyse had 0 pick rate but she's not bad at all.
chamber had 0% pick rate in 2023 except for eg's bind comp but he wasn't bad per say, just reduced from broken to playable.
you all are biased for the japanese agent that's it. neon was nerfed to oblivion and is still being played, same with jett now BECAUSE OF THE MAP POOL and sentinels being nerfed.
once chamber + double dive dies out, yoru will become better again with double smokes even without a buff
The only way to make yoru work is to have tp lineups from the barrier and/or accept that you can’t tp across the map and just use the tp as a get out of jail card and have it close by like chamber but then atp just play chamber
These tps are genuinely garbage, they're only situational like for OP users, the whole purpose of the tp has been destroyed
You cannot play yoru with the nerfs, they have killed the agent, 15 sec tps give him no impact on defense which was his stronger side always.
I don't think he's that bad, I think it's more that they also buffed Skye, someone who also fills two roles and has flashes, so there's no real incentive to play Yoru
lol at people crying for the duration nerf, that 30s tp is so stupidly strong on defense he killed Sentinel role twice (they are already dead on patch 11.08)
which is why we're seeing more chamber now
not to mention he also killed flash init with 2 flexible flashes + (used to be broken) ult
but i agree 15s might be a bit too much, 20s i guess?
