how do we categorize this event so far?
better or worse than bangkok/toronto?
idk abt toronto but imo the swiss and early playoff matches were better than bangkok
games quality and the meta overall
i think we’ve had a lot of 2–0s in this masters
crowd is nice, meta overall is definitely more apparent than Toronto but the Toronto games were better imo, Bangkok had a lot of highlights but the games weren't great
son 😭😭😭😭😭
These next 4 matches would have to be BIBLICAL to even scratch Bangkok let alone Toronto
This event has been awful
Wolves didn't attend champs Paris and it was still a banger
this event is just #wank
i agree with that, and the chance of ns winning this masters because of that is very high

finally Chronicle slander normalized, I put him there for EMEA NPCs
I used to pray for times like this
worse than toronto and better than bangkok, but the final wont ever be better than bangkok
Coming in, I actually liked the fresh 1st seeds.
Meta-wise, there's little variety in comps and agents, but I love that we have NRG making it by sticking to their own playstyle.
bangkok was the best to watch imo but was a mickey mouse
this has more credibility but the swiss stage had nrg vs prx and that was about the only good game
First masters will always be worst than 2nd masters imo. Kickoff always has more problems with visa and teams not being able to field their best roster and also most teams aren't properly settled. And quality of play is generally always worse too since most teams are newly built and need more time to grow stronger.
Bangkok was boring in the sense that there were clear favorites (G2 and EDG) until T1’s fluke run. Santiago on the other hand felt like there were 8 different teams that could have gone on a run and the top 4 all feel like genuine contenders much in the same way Champs 2023’s top 4 were.
EMEA always ending up having rookie teams at these events v the most experienced teams from other regions makes the whole region look like dogshit (well they are worse but not dogshit).
Only team that did decent was the only team with experience in Vitality.
Better than bangkok for sure but so far is toronto is better, its pretty close tho
The group stage wasn't great but as soon as playoffs started its been really good.
