Copying Cryoglazer, not in particular order cause im terrible ranking things
- Before Sunrise: very cool to see two people hang out and and fall in love, feel like i discovered a entire new world inside their own
- After Hours: funniest movie ever made
- The Empire Strikes Back: because why not
- Everybody Wants Some: people usually remember their spiritual predecessor Dazed and Confused but this movie rules so much i just have a very good time watching it. Like before sunrise is mostly just people hanging out but this time on a more friendship basis and seeing this characters develop a cool little brotherhood and getting to know each other is very fun. Pretty much a comfort movie
- Star Wars: because why not (yeah its a new hope but i call it by the original name)
- The Boy and The Heron: see people talk a lot about Spirited Away but i think this movie is very underappreciated because it carries the same spirituality while having his own themes of mortality and grief. Sadly people don't remember as much but i think it will go down as a classic with more time because this movie is so hauntingly beautiful and watching it in theaters was a crazy experience
- 12 angry men: I'm a sucker for investigation movies and/or court room dramas and this is so well done. Quite possibly the best movie ever made? The slow development of the case and the evidences, the fleshed out unique characters, the themes of flaws in the justice system and systematic hypocrisy... All that while being very entertaining. Very fun movie
- Asteroid City: Wes Anderson is a hit or miss for most people but for me he always is a hit. Asteroid City is likely his most personal and honest film while also somehow being one of his most stylistically extreme and i'il leave it at that
- Punch-Drunk Love: A Adam Sandler movie can be that good. Very cute and funny and has the best soundtrack ever in a movie
- Raw: French Cannibalistic Cinema Hell Yeah
HM:
Twin Peaks: The Return is on a grey area whether its a miniseries a season 3 or a 18 hour movie. Whatever it is its likely the best audiovisual piece i've ever seen in my life and nothing made me feel the way it did
Superbad: second funniest movie ever made
Stop Making Sense: not a movie but i love talking heads
Birdman: Inarritu is the goat
